Understanding the Trump Phenomenon

BTW, this could probably be one of the best political commercials ever.  Narrated by Michael Moore himself.

I love seeing the beast being turned onto itself.

Spread the word.

I think you could divide people into two groups: those who like this video, and those who don't. And I ****** love it.

And I never thought Michael Moore, of all people, could be on the "like" side. This election has made my head spin nearly off. I now don't trust anyone or anything anymore. And I never thought I would see the day I would think Douthat more evil than Moore. Or that I could vote for a guy like Trump. Just goes to show how we don't know anything in this world. Leaves me terrified what's next.

@MK

The person who made this video took Michael Moore's words out of context--just like the Left has been doing to the Right for years. The beauty of this video is that Moore is now made to look like a Trump supporter when Moore's primary objective was to campaign against Trump. It's using the "art" of the Left and turning it against itself.

Sure, I know that about Moore. But those are still Moore's words, and his emotional context. Moore has a heart and gets a thrill out of the elite getting the shaft. Guys like Douthat are the elite.

When you accept the premises of Political Correctness by accepting their language and morality, you've already lost the battle. Trump speaks to those issues, if only implicitly. It is a start, but we need to be explicit, and honest.
