In Memoriam

Today my best friend died.
I picked him from the litter (more like he picked me) and I held him in my arms as he died.

  1. I'm sorry for your loss. I remember how horrible it was when my dog died a couple years back. I got her for my tenth birthday, and she was a faithful and loyal dog. She eventually got a tumor that caused brain degeneration. Putting her down was the most difficult thing I have ever done.

Doggies have been good to us humans for so long.

Beautiful dog. I can relate. Two years ago I hate to have my 12 year old black lab Charley put down. It leaves a major hole in your life.

Last Friday we had to put our collie Max down. He was old and had developed serious health problems. I was with him when he died. It was one of the worst experiences of my life because he faught the effect of the drugs they gave him. He did not want to give up. I miss him terribly. He was my daily companion and dear friend. I know what you are feeling.
